TRADI: a Leonardo da Vinci project. Its aim is to prepare and test e-learning materials that will be used to raise qualifications of employees of SME support institutions at their workplace.

CICOM Organisation participates in a new international EU-project. The aim of the project is to create new innovative e-learning materials for SME support institutions.

Project started from 1st October 2004 will last 24 months. Projects co-ordinating organisation is Kaunas University of Technology Regional Business Incubator from Lithuania.

The main project impact will be tested and widely disseminated new innovative e-learning materials for SME support institutions. These new learning materials will support the competence development among SME support specialists and improve their access to continuing vocational training in their workplaces.

In the longer perspective this is expected to result in improved SME support services, fostered development and improved competitiveness of SMEs in project partners’ and other European countries. Project results will contribute to improvement of vocational training systems in project partners’ and other countries as new e-learning materials will be introduced. Target group access to continuous training will be improved and the e-learning materials will be offered to the training institutions to be included into their training processes.

The primary target group is business consulting, information and advisory centers. Project results will also be useful for those responsible for SMEs support services at national and regional levels including, local authorities, universities and colleges.

Project is funded by EU Leonardo da Vinci -programme.
