DETECT-IT 2

CICOM is a partner in DETECT-IT 2, a European project which can help you have your research projects financed by the European Commission, and network with European partners.

Detect-it 2 is aimed at helping SMEs , Universities and research centres participate in European research programs in the fields of IT, Energy/Environment and Biotechnology for the 7th Framework Program (FP7).

If you have a research idea that you would like to submit in a European proposal, we can help you find partners and have your idea pre-evaluated by experts before the first calls for FP7. It is important to realise that FP 7 is about research & development and not commercial projects.

Detect-it works as well with European clusters in IT, Energy and Biotechnologies.

If you want to be part of Detect-it and become member of a cluster, it is very easy:  

• Please visit the website www.detect-it.org , select Detect-it 2 Database, Register now in the left hand side menu
• or go to the registration page

When asked about your Business Support Organisation, please say CICOM.

If you are interested in submitting a research idea for FP 7, you can describe it in the registration questionnaire. Please note that all information is confidential. If you are interested in becoming a partner in European research projects, please say so.

By joining the Detect-it 2 database, you will receive:

• information about events going on in your region in ICT, Energy and Biotech,
• partners searches for European projects
• you will be able to browse the database to look for partners
