As a Business and Innovation Centre, CICOM Organisation has participated in numerous European projects from the European Commission to support the enhancement and innovation of SMEs in Europe

Amongst others, Cicom Organisation has participated in the following projects:

• "Detect-It 2 " : DETECT-it is a European initiative which aims at stimulating the participation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Research and Technological Development (RTD) activities, in particular within the European Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

• "Med'UP" : Network of European projects actors in the PACA region

• "ETI: Economic and Technological Intelligence" (2000). This project was aimed at promoting innovation, identifying the needs of SMEs in terms of innovation and encouraging them to participate in European R&D programmes.

• "ENTRAIN-NET" a project from Leonardo (2000) with the aim of creating a remote training programme aimed at encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit on the basis of experience and the expertise acquired at the CEEI.

• "INTERPRISE ELECTRONIC COMMERCE" a project from the INTERPRISE programme, DGXXIII (99), with the aim of promoting co-operation between European SMEs and facilitating their internationalisation through adapted and long term business partnerships.

• "SEMPER" a project from the ACTS programme, DGXIII (97-98), led to Cicom Organisation's participation in the development of a platform for demonstrating E-business, along with IBM.

• "SMARTS" a project from the ACTS programme, DGXIII (96-97), with the aim of introducing SMEs to Information an Communication Technologies, advising them on the use of technology to improve their productivity and competitiveness.
