Sophia Antipolis, the leading international technology science park located on the French Riviera, is the setting for the next EASY Cross-Border Investment Forum to be held on Thursday 21st and 22nd November 2008 and which will be organised in the context of the French EU Presidency. The EASY Cross-border forum is part of a two year programme of cross -border events which have been held in major capitals across Europe bringing business angels and early stage funds to meet with selected businesses seeking international investment. To date over 1000 investors have attended the events with over 115 companies having presented their propositions so far. The EASY event is being co-organised with Sophia Business Angels Network (SBA) for this major cross-border event in collaboration with their partners: Fondation Sophia Antipolis; Antipolis Innovation; CERAM; IRIS Capital ; Meeschaert Gestion Privee and Team Cote d'Azur as well as France Angels. The EASY event offers both investors and entrepreneurs from across Europe the chance to interact with this highly experienced international network of investors and to experience the many opportunities offered by this exciting high tech setting of the Sophia Antipolis Science Park. 20 companies will be selected from across Europe for this EASY Cross-Border event, as well as 5 companies from the Pôles de Compétitivités under the following sectors:
