The IMIS consortium was created with the only purpose to optimally fulfil the tasks to be performed in the project, to fully satisfy its objectives. It aspires to follow a proactive policy towards NACs regions in order to provide high value-added services and expertise. The members of the consortium have proven experience on the following:

• Large resources of expertise and individual experts in key areas of policy development where RIS-NACs regions have expressed strategic interests and preferences in their action plans.

• Strong knowledge of the procedures, design and implementation parameters of the Structural Funds. Our experts have worked for more than 15 years in the design and development of Action lines, measures and projects under structural funds f ina ncing mechanisms and have participated in negotiation procedures with both the European Commission and the regional authorities.

• Long experience on the design, monitoring and implementation of the RIS/RITTS innovative actions.

• Common work with numerous regions and national authorities that have developed successful case studies of “excellent” policy implementation and design.

• IMIS partners have deep working experience with large scale European Commission projects and have participated in many working teams for the design and implementation of European studies, projects and policies. In addition many members of the management team and experts have supported European Union’s Presidencies relating to Innovation and R&D Policy (e.g. Finland , Greece , France, Eureka etc.)
