INI- Novation GmbH
INI-Novation actively brings research to market. It develops individual commercialization strategies for selected technologies incubated in the INI-GraphicsNet (www.inigraphics.net) and supports in particular the creation of knowledge based spin-off companies.
Activities are continuously extended at an international level through our subsidiaries in Europe.
INI-Novation is a spin-off of the INI-GraphicsNet Foundation, which holds valuable experience and reputation in the field of technology transfer.
The INI-GraphicsNet builds a renowned member network for new Media worldwide to foster constant production of innovative technology ideas for the development of new products in the field of computer graphics and related applications.
At the locations Darmstadt, Rostock, Guimarães (Portugal), Providence and Omaha (USA), San Sebastian (Spain), Seoul (South Korea), Singapore and Trento (Italy), more than 370 employees and about 550 part-time researchers gather an annual volume of research of 40 million EURO.
Both INI-Novation and the INIGraphicsNet Foundation are located in Darmstadt, in the heart of the prosperous Rhine-Main-Neckar metropolis region.
Darmstadt is renown as a community of excellence for its 30 research institutions, which include four Fraunhofer Institutes, and two Universities of Applied Sciences. As of 2007 Darmstadt will host a major science and congress center.

CESAH - Centre for industrial application and incubation in the field of Satellite Navigation - CESAH has unique features of an application center giving room to demonstrations of newest R&D in the field. It is a link center for Galileo applied industry in the heart of Europe. It is connected to ESA as its strategic partner and part of the ESI network (European Space Incubator Network).
ESOC - since 1967 the European Space Operations Center in Darmstadt has conducted European Space Missions and established, operated and maintained the ground segment infrastructure. It is partner of CESAH and hosts it with room facilities

INI-Novation has co-established CESAH, the Centre for industrial application and incubation in the field of Satellite Navigation, in particular Galileo. Its shareholders are both public and private entities including the RDA and local universities. Key strategic partners are ESA/ ESOC in Darmstadt, the German Air Traffic Control (DFS), Accenture, and the Regional state Bank of Hessen, HELABA.
